Best and Worst Places to Nosh!

Wow; What a choice! Well with a weekly girls evening and a new resturant every time; Best and Worst comes up with a ton of suggestions. Price wise and taste wise!
If you looking for good pub tucker....especially a "Home cooked meal" environment, Jamesons Pub Pattaya wins hands down. With their Roast Chicken Special on a Tuesday for a minimal 199 bht.

If you looking for something lovely and super fancy.....The Amari Mantra is the place to go. The food is "gastronomic" and just...LOVELY!

For a great selection of places, I personally suggest the Central festival center; Zen and Fuji; have lovely meal sets and the sushi is great....usually around 100-300 bht for a meal.
Also in Central is the Secret Reciepe which makes the most AMAZING cheese cakes (I suggest the apple crumble and the NY cheese cake) http://www.secretrecipe.co.th/pattaya.html

For a nice relaxing "French" environment and something really to detract from the crappy Pattaya atmosphere; I suggest the lovely La Bagette  http://www.soidb.com/en/pattaya/dine/restaurant/la_baguette.html for a great coffee and some lovely cakes and pastries. Also they whip up a mean sandwich!

A lovely place to visit if you are in the Leam Chabang Area seems to be the best Thai food resturant we can find. Its this random shack/shed on the main Laem Chabang port rd behind harbour mall. It has no name. But the food is amazing! Anything from the soups/broths to the "Khao pad moo" is fantastic. Really worth a visit especially if you work in the area. Meals are between 30-50 Bht.

For some great fish (mainly thai) head down to Jomtien and at the end of the road is this random resturant which over looks the water. Its a lovely view and the fish is great. Meals are between 80-150bht.

Worst?
Well anything sold on walking street :)

There is also a Greek authentic restaurant in Pattaya serving traditional Greek dishes. This is El Greco. You should try it if you like Greek food like moussaka, souvlaki, Greek salad, tzatziki and many more. Very friendly Greek lady owner and cook.
